Kim Battle President President of Parkside Homes, Kim Battle, a Certified Professional Builder, has been in the building industry for more than 20 years. He comes from a family who has been in the home building industry in the Atlanta area for many years. His father, Frank Battle, is a well-known local home designer who designs many of the homes for Parkside. Kim Battle's credentials are impressive. He has served two consecutive terms as president of the DeKalb County chapter of the Homebuilders Association. This organization serves to improve the entire building industry locally as well as statewide with regards to ethical building practices and homeowner education. These two aspects of the industry are of great importance to him. He is currently chairperson of the Government Affairs Committee for the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association, which works legislatively in counties and municipalities to improve zoning conditions. Also among his accomplishments, Mr. Battle was the first builder to raise the standards for entry level housing in DeKalb County by initiating quality townhouses featuring garages, upscale finish work and fenced-in garden patios, all within a plush landscaped community environment. Degree in 1972 from John Carroll University, in Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Evans started Spectrum Paint, which grew to seven paint retail centers in the metro area and a manufacturing plant in Decatur. In 1993 he entered into a partnership with Kim Battle as Parkside's Chief Financial Officer. Since that time, he has overseen a revenue increase from 2 million to over 20 million dollars. Mr. Evans is also instrumental in land acquisitions and overseeing project developments. David Hancock - Marketing Director Atlanta businessman, David Hancock, serves as the Marketing Director for Parkside homes. He also is a Certified Professional Builder. Receiving his B.S. Degree from the University of Georgia in 1984, Mr. Hancock founded Hancock Sod, Inc., which he has successfully expanded from a sod sales and installation business to a large-scale full service landscape design and build firm. While serving for over 20 years as President and Chief Executive Officer of Hancock Sod, Inc., he has honed much of his skill in business marketing.
